After completing his education and basketball career at St. Mary’s College of California, and a brief coaching stint at the University of Oregon, Josh started his sports marketing endeavors with the Portland Trailblazers. After four years there, he assisted with the sales, marketing, and fundraising efforts for the Oregon Classic, one of the PGA Tours Nationwide Tour stops in the northwest.
In the summer of 2007 he became a partner in a company that specialized in athletic equipment and apparel. It was during this time that the idea for Wears My Shirt was formulated. His passion for helping raise funds for charities and people who help people, led him to exploring an innovative way to not only raise funds, but to communicate awareness for individual causes.
Josh’s love of family and friends is apparent in everything he does.
Creative and Strategic Partner
With over 15 years of design, branding and marketing experience for both global and regional brands, John brings a comprehensive strategic and creative skill-set to the team. He has helped launch campaigns for companies such as Nike, the Portland Trail Blazers, Hush Puppies, Target and Intel, but he doesn't let name recognition overshadow his willingness to seek out smaller companies or individuals that might need help as well. He appreciates the opportunity to share his talents and expertise whenever possible. John owns and operates Glow Creative, a design studio in Portland, Oregon.
In between web launches and marketing campaigns, John and his wife wrangle two small children with an even smaller dog. Camping, restaurants and swimming are what they do best.
